Malware in Space Station detected by Norton

During a routine scan using Norton product, NASA found out that there is a trace of password stealing malware in their space station. The malware in question appears to be a worm which spreads via USB sticks, it seems likely that the infection was introduced in this manner, and that the systems had not had autorun disabled, a fairly basic security step. It is not clear whether more vital computer systems on the station use the same tight isolation methods. With this incident, systems are being installed by Norton Products.

This incident would lead us to this question, "How can we protect our personal computer from different malicious codes or programs if even top companies or organization like NASA can be infected with malwares?" The best solution would be to have the best antivirus software available. The question now is ,"What is the best AV Softwarwe?"

Does someine have an idea?
